We got to work researching his competitors, keywords, and doing a complete site audit.

The first steps for the solution was to do the homework. Completing a full site audit, competitor review, and current ranking keywords. Later we would continue on to improve the content on the site so that it reached his ideal customers. Then work on the sales copy to connect and get those customers to contact him directly.

This client is outstanding and was very responsive to my recommendations, which means we are able to achieve real world results and improvements quickly.

We discovered while the website had been up many years, there had not been a conscious effort to improve backlinks to and from the site, and business partnerships were not being promoted as well as they could have. Then we looked at the keywords they were ranking for and adjusted the content to make improvements.

For this client, local search was not the concern because they work for clients all over the United States and beyond. So, the focus was on reaching their ideal customers throughout the United States and through those efforts, expand the brand.

We improved the website Domain Authority from 23 to a 73 over a period of about 6 months. This meant by Moz (3^rd party SEO analysis tool) they had one of the highest Domain Authorities for metallurgy anywhere online. They also gained significant website traffic, and keyword rankings that matter for real client building potential.

These changes have made a very powerful impact for the client. They are now seen as the expert they should in their niche. If you search for metallurgist consultant they are a top 3 result at any given time. This means more calls, more work, and more recognition for them.
